Why did you earn your APR?
It was a long-term goal for me, and I had seen others that I admired earn the credential. I realized that if I kept putting it off, I'd never get it done, so a little encouragement from the Las Vegas Chapter was just what I needed.
What do you consider to be the benefits of earning your APR?
It has given me increased confidence and opportunities to engage the RPIE planning process. I made new friends in the process. And the recognition of accreditation has opened new opportunities including that of serving as the Utah PRSA chapter president and consulting in my local community.
What would you say are the pros and cons of Las Vegas' Ready to Roll program?
This was the friendliest, most supportive study program. Each mentor encouraged me with confidence and I felt professionally and personally lifted through the process. I am proud to be a graduate of the Las Vegas Ready to Roll program!
