Las Vegas Valley Chapter Hosts PRSA Western District Conference, September 26-28 at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino

Conference to include keynote speakers and 20+ professional development, networking and social opportunities

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Valley chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-LVVC) is teaming up with 11 Western District PRSA Chapters and 13 Pacific Northwest PRSA Chapters to host the PRSA Western District Conference September 26-28 at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.

The three-day conference will offer 20+ invaluable educational sessions covering a wide array of topics, ranging from crisis communication, reputation management, leadership and managing uncertainty and polarization, to the latest industry tools and communication tactics. The conference will also include a pre-conference workshop on Sunday, September 26 on Conscious Leadership: How to Grow and Be More Resilient Than Your Ever Thought Possible conducted by Heathere Evans, APR, president of Pivot Incorporated.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Fred Cook, director of the Center for Public Relations at USC and chairman of GOLIN
  • Wajahat Ali, Daily Beast columnist and public speaker
  • Eric Tosi, vice president of communications and content for the Vegas Golden Knights
  • Lori Nelson, APR, senior vice president of communications, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
  • Michelle Olson, APR, PRSA national chair and general manager of the Phoenix, AZ office of Lambert & Co
