More and more organizations are tracking how their online content is used across the Web and finding infringers through media monitoring. Locally, we are seeing the Las Vegas Review Journal sue nearly 40 companies (to date) for copyright infringement after posting RJ stories to private websites.

In this webinar, you'll learn what is considered public domain; how to attribute others' content safely; the ins and outs of copyright law, including the Software & Information Industry Association's anti-piracy efforts; and what you need to do in order to comply and still effectively do your job. The instructor is Keith M. Kupferschmid is senior vice president, intellectual property policy and enforcement, Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA). He is responsible for working directly with SIIA's Intellectual Property Committee on issues relating to intellectual property and supervises SIIA's anti-piracy programs.
