Social media is the new norm in reaching audiences akin to traditional reporters. There are even social media influencers. But who is an influencer and how do PR practitioners work with them. What expectations do PR folks have of the influencer and what expectations does the influencer have of the PR practitioner? Do we pitch influencers like traditional news reporters? Do we enter into contracts for specific mentions?
