Catchy tunes stay in your head -- whether you want them there or not.  We want our  organization to stay in your head.  We want you involved and active.  When you think of PR, we want PRSA-LVVC to be THE organization that you reference for  networking, resources, and activities that pertain to your professional life. 

And as the Public Relations organization in our community, we want to be "shaking it up."  

The PR profession requires us to stay on the cutting edge of media, communications and social trends.  We constantly have to adapt and learn new skills.   We have to show our value to our executives.  We have to combat the negative perceptions of our field.  We need to rely on each other and build each other up.

The PRSA 2015 board wants to "Shake it up" this year with new formats for our meetings, enhance the benefits that you get from the organization, encourage new membership, and look at long-term plans for our organizations value and growth. 

To shake it up the right way - the way that serves our membership -  we need to hear from our members and non-members.  But not through an on-line survey!  We want to build the Personal Relationships that are critical in PR. 

Come out to our first "gathering" of 2015.  Talk to a board member.  Give us your input -- good, bad, or ugly.  Help us provide you with benefits that make you want to be a member!  Shape your organization.    Get involved.   Have fun with your peers!
