Join us for a panel discussion led by our own Vince Alberta, APR, vice president of public affairs for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, and panelists Jacqueline Peterson, director of strategic communications for Harrah's Entertainment and Chris Saldaña, news anchor at KLAS News 8.
During the program, our panelists will discuss their strategies for communicating to diverse audiences in their own businesses and take questions from the audience about diversity in communications throughout the public relations industry.
Please note the new day and date - Thursday, October 21st. We are trying out a new day to accommodate those who aren't available on Fridays. Show your appreciation and join us!
This will also be the annual membership meeting where members will be voting for the 2011 Board of Directors and on the 2010 revisions of the chapter bylaws. Members are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early or stay a few minutes late to cast their votes.
EVENT DETAILS
PRSA's October 21 luncheon program will be held at Cili's at Bali Hai Golf Club, 5160 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at noon.
The cost for the luncheon seminar is $28 for PRSA-LVVC/PRSSA members who register before Wednesday, October 20; $35 for non-members before the October 20 deadline; $35 for members/students and $40 for non-members after the deadline and at the door. Special prizes are offered for those who pre-pay online prior to the event. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted at the door.
